For all you Carbon Express arrow shooters..

Hey guys I am looking at switching from my GT's to Carbon Express shafts in the near future and looking for opinions on their shafts... Anybody shoot the Aramids?? These are the shafts that I am leaning towards and curious if any of you guys shoot them and your thoughts???

I've actually switched from CX to Gold Tips. Not sure if there's much of a difference between the two though. I had been shooting the CX Maximas with no complaints. I really like the Gold Tips, but not quite sure why I switched.

You have my attention, considering the switch too. I was shooting Axis, changed to Beman's, now considering going to Mayhem's. Mainly because that is what my local pro shop keeps in stock. But I would like to hear some input too.

Sorry for the hijack, or is just more like a ride-along?

Hey Extreme, ride along all you want brother....

I haven't had any problems with the GT's and they perform well... I was just given an opportunity to buy the CX's for about half price so I thought why not and figured I would check in with braintrust first...

TTT, anyone of you guys shooting the Aramid's???

The Aramids are a great tough arrow. What do you plan to shoot with them? Buffalo? African animals?

I use the Maxima 3D Selects. I like CX because when you get a dozen arrows, they all weigh exactly the same. The spine tolerances are the tighest in the industry. so basically, when you shoot one, you know the next 11 are going to shoot the same.

Thanks Tracey, I was looking at the Aramids b/c of the weight 9.8 per inch and the fact that they are wrapped in Kevlar.... Just planning on shooting some whitetail and pigs....

Save your money bro. I have seen NO difference in the durability between the Maximas and Aramids. Get off that heavy arrow stuff.

Come to the dark side and shoot A/C/Cs.

Yeah I know about the CE pricing. I still choose to shoot a/c/cs.

I shoot the C E maxima hunters. I have one arrow I have shot two does and a javelina with and it is still going strong (after the flex test). I havent ever shot any other arrows or brands, so I cant speak for others for me if it isnt broke dont fix it. Good luck in your search.

I switched to the CE Mayhems 350s this year and have been pleased with them. Have shot three deer with the same arrow...

Too late to save any money, I sent Kim the order this morning and still feel like I saved quite a bit of money.... I did get off the heavy arrow stuff for a couple years but I am now ready to go back to them without having to deal with the weight tubes....

I didn't even realize they still made a/c/c's...

Thanks for all the comment folks, CX's on the way, even though I won't set them up till after season

Save your money and get a/c/c's? Isn't that an oxymoron? 150 per dozen right? I know their .001 but so are gt pros at 110 per/dz. Sry to be a downer mike

I was just messin with Bud but if you're paying $150 a dozen for accs then you're doing it wrong.

Shot CX Maxmia Hunters 350 and really liked them. The only reason I changed was for more weight and I switched rigs so it was the best time to change. I also had a subtle nudge from shaftslinger_00's pics if his carbon exploding on him.
