May check the amount of pull that the paracord from the rest is attached to.. Are you pulling the Rest too much, may need to let some slack out. just an idea....Mine don't click...

mine did the same thing. i placed a drop or 2 of 3-1 oil between the thumb wheel and the rest of the housing. work the rest up n down (i took the timing cord and put enough tension on it for the rest to "snap down" like it does during a shot) it will take a few times before it stops but it will stop.

you're not trying to drown the rest in oil... after i oiled mine the rest stopped clicking. still works fine, havent had a single problem w/ it.

Seems the oil might make dust collect and create wear over time? Also, if it is clicking that would mean there is something wrong that could cause it to fail down the road? If it were me, I would take it back asap before "normal wear and tear" could become part of the discussion of replacing it. Plus with my luck, it would work fine, right up until that buck I have been chasing steps out

Mine doesn't click...at least not that I have ever noticed. I use the thumb lever to open the rest so it will hold the arrow (I guess that is what yall are calling precocking).

Mine does not click on draw.
BUT IT DOES CLICK on the shot. I'll take it to the shop to see what can be done.
