My buddy shoots his his bow about as much as he takes a leak..... He's on the. road right now having shooting withdraws. He has actually stopped beside the rode and shot his bow waiting on his exwife to show up

I used to shoot religiously, now I shoot a couple of times to make sure my bow is on before I hunt. My old PSE doesn't need the abuse of shooting hundreds of times. I judge my practice on the first arrow out of the box. If I hit the bull on my first shot of the year, I won't practice much more.

I do have an exercise band that I use to keep my shooting muscles in shape. I just work out while watching TV.

5+ times a week now. Off season around 1-3 times a week.

Just for an FYI, If you just have 15 min a day and you practice good quality form you don't have to shoot more than 20 arrows (this can be way better than shooting 100+ arrows at a time and picking up bad habits). But shooting a lot helps build your strength which will improve your shooting as well, but most peoples form gets bad when they shoot a lot of arrow per session. Some people can shoot 100 + arrows but they have been doing that for a long time.

Nearly everyday .By myself I shoot about 40 arrows at home.
                            4 at 20 yds,4 at 30, 4 at 40, 4 at 50, 4 at 60, then go back.
                            4 at at 60, 4 at 50, 4 at 40, 4 at 30, 4 at 20.
About 3 nights a week a friend comes over and we shoot 2 arrows each at the same distances. We keep score. Makes it fun.

I shoot about once every two weeks but pull my bow about 20 times evey morning before I leave for work to keep in shape, it helps..

the longest shot in my backyard is 30 yards so i practice 20 and 30 yards. there are two ranges here 1 3d and the other 3d and foam block.
