Before I ruined my rotator cuff, I averaged 150 shots a day at various ranges depending on what my practice was for... after the surgery.. not so much nowadays if I shoot 50 shots a week it's a good week.... shoulder is getting better and with a hunt coming up I'm working every day in the gym to rehab and get in shape... I'll start hitting the back yard range again next week (20 yrds) and the bow shop on the weekend... then the bow range where I can shoot out to 80 yrds in a couple of weeks...
Every chance I get. Dont really call it practice just fun. I shoot in my back yard all the the way out to about 30 yards but I also shoot at a walking range about 3 miles from my house at Tejas Archery Club in Corpus Christi. You can shoot all the way out to 80 yards there. Plenty of walking trails, the wife my son and I go there just to walk and shoot and get some excercise.
Not as much as I should. I'm shooting two or three times a week from home and trying to get down to Texin's range once a weekend, even though I have missed the last couple of weekends (out of town).
i probably shoot 4-5 days a week... 100+ arrows a day, and i shoot all of my bows every day... i get my muscles warmed up w/ the compound, then break out the trad gear.. my fiance doesnt like as much as i shoot.. but insomniac's have to have something to do while not able to sleep.
Too much and not enough at the same time. 4-5 times a week, i shoot various targets to get ready for competitions, at 40 -50 yards. I also practice with gear on to simulate hunting situations, and occasionallly from my roof to practice a "tree stand" shot.
