He was down in less than 50 yards with a bloodtrail painting both side of the trail.

I used them due to the wound tracks I saw in "Hollis" and "BryonF" blackbears on our 2009 hunt.

    They have served me well.
They are MONSTERS!!! My fave fixed blade far and away. 2 1/2 inches of lineir cut. Rage type hole from a fixed blade!!!!! I used 'em at only 58 foot pounds and blew thru whitetails like they were 2 blade cut on impacts. Monster blood trails. Ask Landrover. He witnessed some of my entry and exit wounds with 'em. I shot a spike with em first and blew a 4 inch by about an inch and a half chunk of lung out of the exit hole!!!

We have had good luck with the grizztrick flies great, leaves big holes. However the razor trick I dont care much for. Ive seen alot of bent and broken blades out of them.

I just ordered 100gr Grizz tricks from Eagle Archery for 22.99 for three. I ordered some other things so the total was over $50 and the shipping was $4.

My wife shoots the Razor Trick and has really good luck with them. I always change the blades out on any head after they have been shot, so little nicks in the blade does not bother me.

I'm glad to hear the reviews are good on the Grizz trick. I think this will be the head for me this year. Thank you fellow TBH'rs!

I found the Grizz Trick more critical of form than the other tricks.

Please explain what critical of form is?

I think he might be talking about hand placement on your grip. Sometimes just deviating away from good form will put BH that were touching shafts with my FTs a good three inches away. Took me a while to figure that one out.

Thank you for your comments! There is no doubt that if you change your hand position or your body posture that it will effect the outcome of a shot, but that has nothing to do with if a BH is good quality or not.
If you have bad shooting form then you will make bad shots no matter what your arrow is tipped with.

I shot the Grizz Tricks directly against several other broadheads. The Grizz Tricks have a larger group at 30 yards. Because of their larger blade surface they are just more susceptible to the little things that happen that keeps every shot from being a perfect shot. That being said, if you make a good shot with them they will hit where you aim.

10-4, I see what you are saying.
A larger BH creates a larger group at 30yrds. Hhhmmmm????
I think you just need to practice shooting more at 30yrds.
(FYI: the GT is only an 1/8in difference in size from the ST and other fixed BH's)
