Has anyone tried the Grizz Tricks yet?

I know that Slick Trick is one of the most popular broad heads used by TBH members, but I would like to see if anyone has expiramented with the Grizz Trick made by ST.
I like the concept of having the same design as the ST's, but the fact that it is a little bit bigger of a head is what I like. Bigger wound channels equals quicker kills!
    My main two questions are:
Do the GT's fly as true as the ST's do?
How much KE do you think is lost by going to the bigger head?

i've used them and they have shot pretty well for me. i have killed a doe with them and they had a decent blood trail and she only ran about 50 yards. I have no answer to your questions as i have never shot slick tricks before. I don't know if i'll use them this year, primarily b/c i am trying to decide among several different broadheads.

I guess to sum it up would be I will use them again, but they are not the last broadhead i will ever use...

Killed a 260 lb whitetail in Minnesota last year with the Grizz Trick. 16 yard quartering away shot thru the middle of the vitals. Arrow was 5 yards the other side with a nice blood trail to it and with extreme splatter a the site of the impact. He was down in less than 50 yards with a bloodtrail painting both side of the trail.

I used them due to the wound tracks I saw in "Hollis" and "BryonF" blackbears on our 2009 hunt.

          They have served me well.

I've been told they whistle when flying through the air.

Do they shoot like a field point?

I think pretty much every broad head whistles while in the air.

You are right about the noise! Every bh that is vented will make noise! No, you will not lose ke if you shoot the same weight head, but you might lose some momentum. If you are shooting 60-80lbs with a modern bow that won't matter. What I have been told is the flight is the same as the ST MAG. but I haven't used them in my testing.

I shot a deer with them last year and I they're pretty good. It (deer) went about the same distance as the ones I shot with the ST Mags and Magnus Stinger.

I could be wrong as two left shoes but I think "shoots like a field tip" doesn't mean it's going to automatically have the same POI as field tips.

The owner of the company believes the slicktrick is his best head.

I wonder if it is the best, or if it's just the best seller?
This thread will hopefully tell me if I shoud go with the ST's or the GT's!
