    I've heard of slotted rotors but never seen ribbed rotors! For extra breaking pleasure!

          Last time I saw one that bad had to be 15 years ago on a HMMWV that was prone to salt decay from the beach. Dang!

            I have got in the habit of asking them if they can be turned right out of the box, 90% of the time they are already at minimum thickness.

            I wonder what sound it made when the rest of it came loose :X

              That's a good idea! I do that with alternators. Saves me the trouble of installing and then having to pull it and go back to the store again.
