    BUDGET 4x6 rifle blind build

Sat down to see just how far I could get with as few sheets of plywood as possible. Here is what I came up with.
I bought enough to make 2!

So far I’ve spent $435 on lumber, hinges, door locks, and screws.

For one of these I already have a base to put it on and the other I bought 1/2 ply and 2x6 for floor.

Got most of the plywood for blind #1 cut and built the back wall.

I can’t build a blind worth my time and materials that I’ll be happy with.

Will the OSB hold up over time?

OSB will do fine as long as it has a thick coat(s) of paint. And repainted as needed

Do you have a crane to lift that beast?
                      Wouldn't 2x2's have been cheaper (& lighter)?

Actually wasn’t too bad. Me and one other TBHer got in the bed of the truck.

Got the tin for the roof in brownwood. Going to slap it up there tomorrow before we put it out

Built a many of those. Only issues I ever had was the bottoms of the osb getting chewed on or rotting. If you can spray flex seal or something similar about 8-12” up from the bottom it’ll sure help. Especially on the bottom edge where It’ll soak up water.
