    Good to know.
It’ll be on a 4ft base though. Flex seal still may be used fir sealing some seams though

Oh that’ll help. Although the edges do always seem to swell first. I bet it sure wouldn’t hurt to spray all the edges.

Added about $40 worth of materials to the total cost bringing it to $475 to build 2 of them!

Siliconed ALL seams on the interior. Flex sealed ALL seams and corners on the exterior.

Included in the $40 material I found a can of the “oops” paint at Home Depot that was $9 for a gallon! Kinda looks like an elephant but it’ll hunt.

Nice. Any slop on the roof? Couldn’t tell.

About an inch. Going towards the door side.

Why the 4x4 timbers on the corners? Not questioning your build, just curious because I can't build a doghouse!

                        I was wondering the same.

Went with the 4x4’s to keep the build process of both blinds as close to exactly the same to keep it simple. The second one I don’t have a base for so I plan to leave the extra 2’ on the 8’ 4x4’s so it is off the ground a little.

I like the simple non over kill blinds. No expensive windows, AC, Microwave. Just a box and the and you. Suit up for the weather and hunt.

I'm digging it. I have one very similar and want to elevate it during bow season.

                                Looks great. Is that 4 x 6 blind or 5 x 6. Can’t really tell. Thanks
