Just buy some bleach and put it in a pump up sprayer and spray your fence. It will turn back to the original color if its gray and then let oit dry for a few days and then spray some www.readyseal.com on it!! AWESOME STUFF You can get full strength bleach that works best from ready seal also.

I did mine with readyseal nad it was well worth it. I bought a cheap garden sprayer and used it then threw it away. Good luck.

My dad, grandad & uncle built saome nice cedar fences a few years ago and they all
used penafin. I think it was around 80 to 100 buck for five gallons from a local fence company and It is also sold at Lowes. You can sparay or roll it on. I am witness
its great stuff and worth the money. www.penofin.com

My money would go towards Penofin. Thompson's is a waste of money IMHO and I have tried a lot as I also build decks and arbors (not fences) and the Penofin has always worked for us. Would like to try the readyseal, but none in our area that I know of.

You sure its okay to use bleach on the wood? Found the message below on another website...

                  > NEVER EVER USE BLEACH TO CLEAN YOUR WOOD. USING BLEACH WILL DRY THE NATURAL TANNIN OILS IN WOOD AND DO IRREPAIRABLE DAMAGE. >

I live on the coast and we use Jomax and bleach to clean fences, etc. It work and won't hunt wood as bad as not treating it does over years.

spray bleach with the garden sprayer and then wash the bleach off with a pressure head on a water hose. Let it dry for a couple days and then stain/seal it.
