    Fiberglass Tank Blind Build

After getting on a new lease I have finally started on the elevated tank blind build from a 6' tall end cap tank thats been sitting around for about 4 years. I've been watching what yall having been doing with yours and getting some great ideas. My plan is to use it exclusively as an elevated rifle blind and semi portable, so here we go......
The base holding tank is rolled 1.25" angle iron from two sections of angle.

The tower is 76" inches tall and skid mounted so that it can be pulled into locations around the lease. Entry will be through a trap door in the bottom.

I was dreading cutting the windows into the tank but found a diamond cut 4 1/2 grinding blade cut attached to my shop vac with handled the dust and made quick work of the 4 windows.

Window frames have the same contour as the tank and will be vertical sliding from the inside once installed.

Yep cutting that fiberglass is not fun at all but a good grinder wheel dose wonders . The best blinds in the world in my opinion a little warm in early season but get a battery operated fan and your set they really hold in sounds and scents great .

Lastly some carpet on the interior, the next step is to lay it over on a flat bed to transport to the lease!

Man, that looks awesome! Did you heat the plexiglass/lexan or is it just thin enough to bend?

Thanks guys for the kind words, yes its a harbor freight bender with after market angle iron dies from SWAG tools, and the plexiglass is 1/4" so it bends easily to conform to the blinds round shape.
