We built my bro-in-law one of these several years ago. I just set in it for the 1st time a couple weeks back and sure is comfy. We used a bass boat style swivel hootus on his..........lemme see can I find a pic.......

That plate has the sleeve in it like in the deck of a bass boat, so it swivels easy, and you can use any kind of seat.
