    Utility Trailer Refurb

Nothing fancy and definitely not perfect but I've been working on fixing up my 16' trailer.

Had a buddy cut off the damaged angle iron and fix her up, looks good as new.

Sprayed the whole thing down with some OSPHO rust inhibitor because, then hit with a wire brush and started priming.

Will try and finish spraying a coat of paint tomorrow and another coat on the whole thing later this week.

Still need to run new wiring and seal new floor boards.

Solid question, I bought it that way.

Everything was straight so I didn't worry about it lol.

It had to have had some decent force applied though, angle iron isn't easy to bend.

Defintily possible, the guy mentioned he had a car on it before when I bought it.

Spaying with Valspar Semigloss Implement and tractor paint using a very expensive HPLV sprayer from Harbor Freight( was 9.99 with a coupon). I'm also using a woefully toosmall 4 gallon compressor that according to the sprayer instructions I should not use. Sprayed the floor with Thompsons Stain+ Sealer Timber Brown.

Where did you find it? I'm thinking this could be a good summer project and then have a nice trailer for decent $

Neighbor asked if he could park it to sell on the backside of our lot that isn't fenced in. Was tired of dragging it in for people to look at from his farm. I was in the market, gone to 3 or 4 farm auctions trying to get a deal. Well there are no good deals on used trailers.

I ended up trading him an old Remington 1100 and $600 for it.

Probably could have bought a new one for not much more total investment but I enjoy projects and have to stay busy or I go stir crazy.

                              Looking great.
I did the same thing to mine, including welding up a nice gate ramp for the back end.... A year later, it was stolen out of my driveway with a $600.00 full box of stone on it!!! sickening
