    filing a hardened blade, you should be happy with that outcome. Diamond files definitely make it easier and if you do it under a good light and get your thorn up close to your circle, you'll find the thorns to be a lot more consistent looking....keep up the nice work there. I do a lot of vines and don't mess with blueing, etc. but definitely line them out with a sharpie on your beginning circles for exact distances - have fun! nice lookin' tooth there too.

          That is one impressive looking Bowie knife, It really is set off with the handle. Nice match up of materials. I would like to have one of those but that is way out of the way at this time. I always prefer a knife with a little larger blade as you have on that one. I know most would say you only use 2 inches of the blade most of the time and I understand that but it is nice to have the rest of the blade when you need it.
