You can cut it,but how long do you wanna be there, and how strong are you?

Please post the video, really. Just make firends with somebody who has a torch if you don't wanna use the port-a-band.

      fyi

fyi - thought about saving money and go with a recipricating saw which I had. I tried the saw and it did not go anywhere. I ruined 1 new metal blade and did not even get into the center. do not use anything beside a torch.

You can cut it with a Recip saw. Thats what I used to make some clean cuts on a deer feeder I made back before the spring.

It took about 3/4 of a blade per pipe.

I agree, please post a video

Cutting torch or plasma cutter are about the only things I want to be involved with on cutting drill pipe. Now production tubing is a whole different story the wall thickness is not even comparable

            Good luck.
better idea, instead of renting the rig, haul them to Your local handy mans shop, (You'll probably have to use a trailer to haul them anyway)he'll have a torch, and probably won't charge ya more than 20 bucks....
Any welder/fabricator, muffler shop, or metal building company can probably accomodate Ya. Good luck!
