Very cool project you have there! How do you like the Lincoln 180? I've got one just like it and love it. I think working on old cars and trucks is like working on old houses...the more you fix, the more you find that needs fixing! Will keep watching this one.

So far it's worked great! Best buy I have made for this build.

              That is do true!

I pulled the trigger on a new passenger fender. JEGS had free shipping and because of the size of the fender shipping was almost as much as the fender its self. Bought it for $107.00, not a bad price at all.

The shipment came in, unpacked it and it looked good. Was disappointed about the thickness of the fender, lighter gauge than the original equipment. If I come across an OE finder on Craigslist I'll snag it however, will use this one until I find one.

With the fender and doors I started to put the skins back on the check for fit.

                Bolted up the fender skirt.

Mounted the radiator, using the old one until I finish some of the mock up.

Installed the fenders. Had to have the wife give me a hand to push the fender down so I could thread a bolt in.

                Almost finished.

                Some gaps

                Alining the doors to fenders.

                Looking better.

                Finished!

Making sure the lines are in alignment.

Looking good, and you don't mess around.

Can't wait to see the final drive out.

I don't like annoying grammar police so I didn't say anything, but that was driving me crazy! LOL!

I figured a subtle comment would suffice

The hood had small rust spots on the front driver’s side, looked like it was in a fender bender (or “finder bender” for RAGUIRREJR). I thought the spots where easily fixed with some spot welding however, I was wrong.

Using a hand pneumatic grinder I was trying to find the extent of the rust.

Sanded the area down to make ready for the cut and welding.

Using a small wheel pneumatic cuter.

Using the cut piece as a template.

Air tools make work easy .

If done right! Ho-well, back to cutting another piece!

                                This one fits much tighter.

I spot welded the piece in place.

Using a nail as filler to fix a hole.

                                Finished up with a grinder.

Patching the hood saved me $200+ shipping on a new hood.
