4" split face concrete block works good, looks great, and is relatively cheap

I did similar to coachwhip with the r panel and j trim. I was too cheap to pour the curb, so I dug a 6 inch trench around the drip line of the mobile home. The R panel goes into the ground a few inches. I backfilled the trench with gravel. Still looks good 3 tears later and no more mice or busted pipes! I suggest putting a heavy black plastic layer on the ground underneath the house before you underpin to keep moisture from working it's way up inside the house.

I took old wood fence board cut to length to fill in like the r panel. stapled with stainless staple to treated 2x4s. drove treated stakes behind drip line and anchored the boards to that. the small space between the boards lets air circulate but keeps out critters and pipes have not froze.

Good ideas! Worked all day yesterday and today on digging for the footer, hope to have the concrete in early next week. Really thinking about going with sheet metal. Will update with pics when it stops flooding. May need to put this baby on styrofoam. It's coming a **** floater right now!

We poured the concrete today between the rains. I will take a couple pics of that this afternoon. Hopefully it dries before the next rain hits.

brick and stucco, make doors on every side to store things. increases home value as well.

The minimum amount of yards they would haul was 4 so I had enough to add to the driveway. Should have added on to my shop slab o well.
