Turning out really nice!!

Started out with a trailer full of 89 of them old laminated boards we used for the walls. A lot of them had bad areas in 'em that had to be cut out, so that really affected the way we had to make all our cuts.

Finished the walls today, and the leftover boards consisted of 3 and a piece.

Put up the interior divider wall as well.

My nephew got to come hang out today! He seemed pretty mad at some cactus.

Sunday was a pretty good day. Went up with the top plate then the LVLs that span the front room. We had two of the LVLs and sandwiched them together. At almost 20 feet long, them dudes are heavy!

Then it was on to laying out for the ceiling joists. I let Mott walk the top plate because...well... I just don't do that. Got it laid out nice, then nailed em' up.

Yesterday, while I was at my real job, mom and dad primed the exterior of the siding. I told them not to be climbing around on stuff, but, you know, they listen about as good as I do.

Ha Ha! Gotta give credit where credit is due though. Dad is the "engineer" behind the whole project. He has been wanting one for a while, and it is awesome that we are finally getting to make it happen.
