putting the new heater core in was not very easy at all. had two hidden bolts couldn't get to.

I ended up trading my dana 60 and 14bff for a guys mud truck. he wanted mine for a rock crawler he is building.

The weekend of 12/21 I went to my lease to check trail cams and got stuck. I was in my truck 4wd with mud tires buried to the frame. I was easing across the pasture and ran over an area where gophers had dug up and my truck just dropped to the frame.
Called a tow truck he couldn’t get me out he said after looking at the truck. Said his would sink trying to get to me. So 7hrs later and it was raining most of the time I got it out after alot of digging and 200ft of chain and two ¾ ton 4wd trucks pulled it out.
Got home and decided to take the blazer on an outlaw run under the cover of darkness to see how it was running after working on it. The transmission was slipping in and out of overdrive I was like great now I have to work on the transmission. Went home checked the Trans fluid it took 3quarts to get it full lucky I only drove it ½ mile like that. Then I drove it again after filling it up and it shifted fine through all gears. With the rain the windows were fogging up so I turned on the heat and got the smell of coolant dang heater core was bad. So that’s what I am putting on this weekend glad it’s only a $25 part.
the blazer was low on transmission fluid again last week after i put new battery cables on i took it for a quick run down the road. checked the fluid because it was slipping in and out of gear again. I will be replacing the input seal on the transfer case this weekend. all the transmission fluid was getting past the seal and filling up the transfer case.

we got the input seal to the transfer case in and new gasket yesterday. we were doing a fine tune and found out the choke pull off was not working so I have one of those ordered now.

I have it ready for an inspection sticker now so I can put it on the road. which I need to do because Friday at work my truck blew a head gasket. so we have to try and fix the truck this week I hope,

I put the new choke pull off, on the blazer Sunday and it is now on the road.

I never thought about how hard it was going to be to put a car seat, and booster seat in the blazer with the lift kit on it.

my kids 5y/o and 1 1/2 y/o love riding in the blazer.

The race mufflers were to loud for the kids I didn't want to hurt their ears. So I changed to dual flowmaster 50 series with all new 2.5'' exhaust pipe.

I have a pinion seal to replace tomorrow afternoon...

I took my daughter to daycare last friday morning in the blazer and when I got back home. The radiator was leaking alot of coolant, so I bought a new radiator. And just put it on yesterday evening when I got up.

Next week is my birthday when my wife asked what I wanted. I told her I would like a new set of tires for my blazer. but I don't really need them but thats what I want.

$410 a tire is alot of money to me.
