I have not done much to the blazer since last time I posted. I did bring it home Tuesday and drained the radiator and added antifreeze to it Wednesday. My wife came out side to check on me because I was just sitting in the blazer for about 20 minutes letting the engine run and listening to the radio.

I go through periods where I never drive it and want to sell it, then other times I drive it all the time and constantly tinker with it. It's a love/hate relationship

It only for sale if somebody is willing to pay for it. It gets hard to justify sometimes.

I'm in the same situation with my bronco. Don't sell it. It is paid for, you own it clear. It is built like you want it, done right. Only a huge K5 fan would pay you near what you have in it in parts, not counting your wrench time and knowledge. They will build their own 9 times out of ten unless you give the truck to them.

If you want a different or newer truck, save your pennies and buy it. Keep the K5 on the side like the plain-looking girl you string along and call up every once in a while who has never let you down but you won't make your number 1. Harsh but true.

I got some SS exhaust stacks from a guy that said to get a 50lbs sack of ol Roy dog food for him and I could have them. I wanted to put a big turn down on the tips but couldn’t find what I needed.

So I cut up the stacks (I know I will be losing a lot of tail by doing that from what I have read on here).

But I plan on cutting them to about 18’’ and welding the reducers back on. I’m not really going for the real loud type of sound. More of an ears bleeding type of sound is what I’m looking for.

I hear ya, lol. If were to sell it, believe me when I say, I would be loosing a pile.

The weekend of 12/21 I went to my lease to check trail cams and got stuck. I was in my truck 4wd with mud tires buried to the frame. I was easing across the pasture and ran over an area where gophers had dug up and my truck just dropped to the frame.
Called a tow truck he couldn’t get me out he said after looking at the truck. Said his would sink trying to get to me. So 7hrs later and it was raining most of the time I got it out after alot of digging and 200ft of chain and two ¾ ton 4wd trucks pulled it out.
Got home and decided to take the blazer on an outlaw run under the cover of darkness to see how it was running after working on it. The transmission was slipping in and out of overdrive I was like great now I have to work on the transmission. Went home checked the Trans fluid it took 3quarts to get it full lucky I only drove it ½ mile like that. Then I drove it again after filling it up and it shifted fine through all gears. With the rain the windows were fogging up so I turned on the heat and got the smell of coolant dang heater core was bad. So that’s what I am putting on this weekend glad it’s only a $25 part.
