              Here is what Flash_Outdoors, his brother and I built a few years ago. 1 Kicker Comp VR 10", and 4 Kicker 5 1/4"'s. Deep cycle battery with a sony head unit and amp. We built the top out of MDF and sprayed bed liner on it. Thing is loud as heck, and the battery lasts about 10 hours.

                            we built one years ago with marine speakers, marine cd player, amp, and used a boat battery. We built a side compartment and would drop dry ice over there to keep everything cool otherwise it would overhead with CDs playing (before MP3s players were created).

                            My one suggestion if using for floating the river, put something on it so you can lock the lid shut. Our first one flipped in some fast rapids and everything fell out.
