Looks good! Heck of allot cleaner than the first one I built! If you use the aux input to 4 RCA's, mine went bad after a few months, just a heads up.... But that might have been the fact I didn't have a sealed battery then. They have headphone jack to RCA cables at big lots (idk about all stores) for $4 . Then you would just need an rca splitter. Iv found with those amps you get the best sound using the RCA inputs as opposed to the input in that bundle. as that one is intended for the volume control, even though you can use it for an aux in a pinch.

Great build again, I like the look of the black Coleman's.

Got the batteries & toggle wires yesterday. Tool the TBH advice & went with RCA to headphone instead of what was there. Adjusted the gain & played with the EQ on the iPod...wow it sounds good.

Got to clean up the wiring by putting sleeves on them (just a personal thing)

Last touch will be straps from the cooler to the lid. The 6x9 in the lid has put stress on the hinges. Click image for larger version

Went in the igloo store at the factory today and found this boy for $50 because it had a bent latch. Liked it bc it matched the speakers. Orange leds behind the speakers to come soon.

If your looking for a cooler to work with I would suggest stopping by the factory near brookshire. They had several ones that would work great for this purpose on the cheap. They sell them in the store their marked down because they didn't meet the standard to be sold retail.

I'm thinking about building something like this to use at my son's baseball games for walk up music, etc. I don't think I need 1000 watts, but I want it loud. Portability & weight will also be factors. Any suggestions?
