Looks like you did a good job. I really like the way the tongue hooks onto the ball hitch.
But seriously, your disks are backwards and you wont get very good performance unless your soil is super mellow and has no structure. It needs to be pulled the other direction, so the concave edge of the disks cut into the soil.
Check out this link for a quick picture:http://www.deere.com/wps/dcom/en_US/...k_harrows.page
Let us know how your test goes

might many to add a basket to hold rocks or weights. might need to weight it down. to get through packed dirt. looks simple to use. good job.

                    pull behind discs

These pics are of a plow I made 4 years ago. The wheels are mounted using shank bolts which have the heads ground to sit flat into the axle of the heavy steel angle axle, then welded into place. I used flat washers on each side of the hub for a bearing surface and to help keep dirt out and a hex nut and a lock nut per side to hold wheel on as a backup. Do not want to loose a wheel in the woods. Sorry I took so long to show pics I had a problem uploading pics as I am very computer ILLITERATE!!! lol The plow works great and I have 6 steel plates at 50 lbs each which I can place on top of the plow (notice the 3 bolts sticking up on top? These line up with the holes in the steel plates to hold them in place). I built this out of scrap junk I already had laying around and I have approximatly $175.00 tied up in blades and hardware. I made the spacers which go between the blades all angle steel, tires and coupler I already had so it was a cheep build).

I only have to travel 150-200 yards and when I pulled it behind my lawn mower tonight it didn't scar the ground to bad. Of coarse I wasn't going fast either.
I think it didn't cut much because like others said the plows are backwards. Right now you have the rounded side out wich will push it out of the ground. With concave the other way it will dig itself in some.
