I've been hunting public land for quite a few years now and finally got tired of carrying my climber in and out each trip. It was bulky and cumbersome to carry it and my rifle or bow so I started looking for a cheap ladder stand to rig up with wheels for my public land spots that would also double as a deer cart and finally got offered one by a fellow TBH'er. Went and picked it up this past weekend and got to work on it.
Drilled a 1/2" hole on the bottom rung of the ladder that the seat attaches to, ran a piece of 1/2" all thread through the rung. A few nuts, washers and a couple scavenged bicycle tires from my kids old bikes later I had a mobile ladder stand. Took some small angle iron and made arm rests that I can use as handles as well. We'll see how it works!
