    Mobile ladder stand

I've been hunting public land for quite a few years now and finally got tired of carrying my climber in and out each trip. It was bulky and cumbersome to carry it and my rifle or bow so I started looking for a cheap ladder stand to rig up with wheels for my public land spots that would also double as a deer cart and finally got offered one by a fellow TBH'er. Went and picked it up this past weekend and got to work on it.

Drilled a 1/2" hole on the bottom rung of the ladder that the seat attaches to, ran a piece of 1/2" all thread through the rung. A few nuts, washers and a couple scavenged bicycle tires from my kids old bikes later I had a mobile ladder stand. Took some small angle iron and made arm rests that I can use as handles as well. We'll see how it works!

ID:	26927807This is a stand I built about 25 years ago for the run and gun thing. It works well to haul your stuff in and a deer out as well.

Looks good! I'm going to replace the wheels on mine with plastic spoke wheels at some point. I figure they will do better in the brush than the small metal spokes.

I have hitch pins holding mine on drilled holes in axel for pins. That way I can remove wheels in seconds. When I put the stand up, wheels are on the ground and I cover with leaves. Pic of is where I can fold the step.

I haven't set mine up yet but it will look similar to this.
