Time to rebuild a bay boat

My 2000 Boatright started looking 24 years old and the lower unit on the 2002 Yamaha started showing issues so it is time.

where we started.

After stripping off everythimg bolted on was cutting off the console

Tomorrow we continue stripping flooring and removing all guard rails

Now the floor strip and rail removal is complete and got a start on the riser build.

More progress on the riser. During a test fit on the boat my son (bboswell2.0) suggested removing the leg that was where the red line is so we would have an access point for putting wade bags and bait boxes etc under the console. We tested it, liked it and made a design exchange on the fly.
