Oh, you should see it with some color on it😎

The extra details in the riser are nice and uses the space very well.

Inspiring me to get off my a** and finish my 1996 18/66 Boatright. Have it all stripped down ready for paint. Are you repainting it? If so, what paint did you go with? Spyder has some blades for a reciprocating saw that work wonders on the rubber floor removal. Wish I would have read this sooner. Could have saved you some work on removal. What is your plan for the flooring? I have a guy that can put the same stuff back on it if you are interested. Thanks for posting this.

Un-fortunately I used the same sawzall blade you mentioned but I was told later by both Aluminum Guy and SafeFloor that this is the tool for the job!
This 18V cordless oscillating tool is ideal for remodelers, flooring contractors, maintenance repair technicians, and electricians that tackle awkward applications on jobsites

I went with Awlgrip paint because it is what Boatright is using on their new boats now.

Was time to repower and didn’t want a new shiny motor on an old ugly boat

Got some color on it this weekend! Plan to get console screwed down early this week so I can haul it in for flooring. Planned all along to go with SeaDeck but after pricing, comparing warranties and real world longevity I decided to go back with SafeFloor

An ambitious undertaking and I like that it’s a family affair. Looks like it’s all coming together nicely.
