I bought 4 of the Stealth Cam 12V battery back-up boxes to power my 4 Stealth Cam Unit cameras and haven't had any kind of luck but bad. I'll come back and the charge is good but the camera is dead. Sometimes 12v battery is dead too after only a month. These things eat batteries like a fat kid eats twinkies. I'm thinking about soldering a heavier connector into the cameras and hooking solar panels up to the boxes too.

I have these on my cameras and I use a 12v solar panel.......they can go all year without dying.......unless the squirrels eat through my wire from the panel to the battery box. Need to get some metal flex to put my wires in.

I called moulte and wild game hot line #'s and they would NOT tell me what size to use. Does anyone on the green screen know what size plug would fit????
i have the wildgame w4xc it takes the "k" plug

                    Thanks tgil! Here is mine

                    I used a canter box from homedepot. 6x6x4 $11.00
Used a 3/8 to 1/2 for running the flex conduit into the box and the line out
Of the box to the camera. Last check I had 917 photos and battery @ 99%

I owe you a drink if I ever get to meet you!

You can go to thrift shops or pawn shops to buy the chargers that have the plugs an cut them off and wire that up. They usually will give them free or for a few cents instead of buying the plugs from RadioShack for $5.
