Rather than using saw dust in the bottom go to the pet store and buy absorbent "puppy pads" so you don't have to clean up all the pooled up blood. All you have to do is throw it away!

When I was a kid, my Grandpa came up with an old ice machine like this:



He put a heavy duty bar inside of it, and the whole family would bring their quartered deer to hang in it. After the season, we'd have a day where the whole family showed up and we'd process everyone's meat all in one day.

made one like it on vacation and put two quartered deer in it at Thanksgiving week. Kept a couple of racks for mine. also put the hangers in mine. Looking forward to "hanging" one or two now to see how it works like that.
