      Thin molasses with concentrated apple juice (from the frozen section) and use it to coat feed corn. It's cheap, easy to make, and you might already have all of the ingredients in your kitchen pantry.

        Guys - do not put sweet feed, horse or mule feed in your spin feeders. Short of taking it to the quarter car wash, you will come back to a heck of a mess inside your feeder.

            i read the otherday that it is mostly rice bran and is scented with anise oil

              Just for clarification, do NOT put this mix in any feeder. Broadcast this by hand or dump it in piles. You can also add water to it, seal it in a bucket for a couple days, and make a sweet smelling pig attractor.
