I dont thank human scent is going to detour a hog from his food. If that was the case farmers could spray there fields with human scent. Haha. Just kidding. I dont think you need to plug up holes on the feeder. I think you need to let me come clean out some of the hogs so it dont cost you so much to feed them. What think about that idea.?

Not a bad idea to make one with just 2-4 holes. Should take em awhile to empty it then.

Build 'em sturdy or you'll be looking for them. I've had them twist stainless cable until it broke even with swivels, break the pipe, roll them off where I couldn't find them. They work if you can keep corn in them, I like the rocks idea, gonna try it.

if you make them with a few holes then add some bigger rocks they still beat it up looking for the corn... it saves some money and they sit there for a while working it trying to get the fake corn out of it. Gives you a chance to Drill One

Ours have been out for 2-3 months now and they seem to be doing fine with lots of pig traffic. Heck my game cam shows pigs at it several times a day. We actually had to increase the number of the holes in ours as it was not dropping corn enough, the first month out mine was still half full. Cows mess with them but don’t seem to keep the hogs away. Now just to get out there and slay some porky. ;-)
