I drilled 3/8" holes. Seems to work ok and is a little stingey with the corn.

I know 3/8" is what you told me and it's not that I didn't take your advise. It's just when I seen the pipe with the holes already in it, well...I got lazy.

Heck ya! If they were pre-drilled, I don't blame you!

The paint isn't going to last long on those, they'll wear it out. My hogs somehow pulled my stake out of the ground and I found my pipe 600 yards away, luckily in the middle of another road. LOL... I'm glad I saw this, need to get it set back up now that deer season is over.

They work great, keeps them "busy" and is kinda fun to watch them have a go at it. I use mine with a kenco straight line feeder. The feeder draws them in but it does not throw out a lot of feed at one time. The pipe keeps them there.

I made this one today for the same purpose, got about $24.00 in it. It will throw a 1/4 pound to 4 pounds per throw, Have to fill it up about once a week but it aint no big thing. I call it "mana from heaven"

I put holes all over the pipe. The 3/8" makes it pretty tough to get any corn out. One complete roll gets you about 3 kernels.

You use pvc or the cheap drain pipe? I love this idea....much better than the gravity feeder with the wye on the bottom

pvc with caps but what I used was pipe that was given to me. So I had no cost in it.

These work great but they also work for deer
