Some of you patriots need to re evaluate how we hold government accountable.

It is the precedent that is the issue.

DJT had his new AG Whitaker give a bunch of law abiding citizens 90 days before they became felons.

Thats the issue.

I want DJT as president again…but he is not the answer this country needs. He is a stop gap.

90% on this site think they are "conservatives" and have no clue. As we were founded the govt had very little right to restrict anything in the daily lives of citizens. Certainly not useless plastic hammers etc!

They argued when debating the bill of rights as to whether add the amendments because the way the constitution is written it is clear we have all those rights!
But some basically said "but some wont understand unless we spell them out", others said "if we spell them out they will think that its the only right we have"

And they were right. People now think the Constitution and Bill of Rights GRANT us rights, and that other rights arent rights because they arent enumerated and pick apart the wording in each amendment in an attempt to neuter them as much as possible!

A trigger is not an accessory.. A bump stock is.
Out lawing triggers makes guns useless. Outlawing bump stocks does nothing. Nothing more than politics.
If Im going to be getting all stressed out over something this government is doing, and there is plenty to be stressed about, it will be over something much more important than an accessory that most have never had a need for to begin with and never will.. I only have so many fights left in me and I wont be wasting one on something this irrelevant..

Every one of us should be concerned about every bit of government overreach whether you think it’s irrelevant or not.

Apathy is how we have gotten where we are now.

Design can be changed to only slam fire the bolt. This would save childrens lives by taking much longer to fire multiple rounds and wouldnt affect your precious second amendment. By law the firearm is the frame/upper. That is what you have a right to own. The second never specifies how the firearm functions.

Play all the word games you want. They love them! They get to word the laws, determine what is what, what is important and what isnt all the while they dont even know how guns work.

2 other examples currently are they want to make pistol braces illegal so that thousands of ar pistols with them will be illegal unless re-registered as SBRs along with a govt tax stamp. Last year, they changed the definition of a silencer/suppressor to include each individual part, thus making it way more difficult for those that prefer to build there own. For those that dont know, buying a commercial suppressor includes about a 1yr wait. Building your own, you could get an approval in about a month and before the definition change you could order the parts and put it all together. Most of those companies closed shop upon that ruling.
The fact that suppressors are regulated at all is a whole other thing. We talk about being more like EU countries as far as firearms laws (which im against) but over there, suppressors are sold over the counter in many places ive been to where guns are legal to own. Too many people see movies with the 'silent' silencer

Infringe on what?? A bump stock is not a firearm. Without a firearm attached to it is useless and in that case its just a plastic hammer at best.. It is an accessory. No different than a scope or a sling. You guys get all worked up over the silliest things and my bet is none of you own a bump stock and never will.... BIGGER FISH TO FRY..

It has nothing to do with my logic. Y'all are getting worked up about infringing on the 2nd A..
Yes they could ban future sells on optics and that would suck BAD but None of this has any of this has anything to do with the our 2nd amendment. Nothing overlaps or intertwined the 2nd amendment.

Banning Bump stocks or any other accessory is a complete and separate issue..
Don't mix things up.
