New polling shows strong support for Texas to leave the union

Well lookie here.... There's a new poll out showing 66% of Texas voters support leaving the union. Support is broader and deeper than many folks think. Both parties, conservatives and moderates, rural and urban.

Get the latest news and updates from the Texas Nationalist Movement as we work to make TEXIT a reality.

I know some of you folks think we're "fringe". The numbers suggest otherwise.

    Lets go for it.

Worse case it starts an uprising across America and maybe forces idiot politicians to back off a little.

Just another fantasy that is impossible according to the legalities.

            It will never happen

One step is needing congressional approval from the United States, not gonna happen captain

I’ve spent the last 7 years working toward this goal. I can cite TX and US constitutional arguments, debunk ideas about the Civil War and the Supreme Court, and so on.

Did George Washington or Sam Houston ask for permission? We need a legitimate popular vote, generated through the standard legislative process, and then a declaration.

False. There is no law preventing any state from leaving the union. In particular the Texas Constitution proclaims this in great detail. Almost as it if we’re anticipated.

I've always agreed with this mindset when it comes to Texas' secession. The original patriots didn't need "permission" from England. The very definition of seceding is that you break all ties.

If/when it comes up for a vote, I'll be voting for it.

Typically folk that fall in this category are very low credentialed, educated, and have very little money to risk on a bet. Don’t get mad at me either, it is statistical.

So all bets are off, ain’t gonna happen captain.
