    Electric vehicles

I think they are more about limiting citizen movement than they are about clean energy. They can simply turn your vehicle off as well, which is just a crazy concept to me.

Its the same as when Democrats name a bill like " the freedom bill" once you read it and get the details, you find out its about anti freedom.

I think they would be perfect for a city commuter vehicle. Has nothing to do with being better for environment but I would drive one if I just needed a short commute and had another option for traveling

Been saying for a while now that I’m fairly certain the ev push is to eventually limit each individual’s freedom radius. When you are forced into one and it only goes 200 miles round trip….or less then they have absolute control. They know **** well there will never be enough energy available to charge a country full of EV’s. And now some idiot states saying they will forbid combustion engine in 10-15 years……horse ****

It's freedom for them to do what they want....unabated.

I think rangers and the like would be perfect for city commuting. Obviously they're not crash rated. When I had to work out of the office the roads I took never got above 55mph. A supped up golf cart was truly all I needed to get home and back.

San Marcos is being taken over with bike lanes no one uses. Give us a buggy lane!

I would think most of your modern cars from 2015 forward have a mechanism that could remotely render them useless

Probably, yet they can’t seem to be able to find stolen vehicles. But then again it’s their constituents that do that line of work.

Actually they're perfect for the long commute which is why I bought mine. 100 miles roundtrip, all highway. I charge every night and never stop for gas anymore which saves me a ton of money on sodas and gas station [emoji894]'s [emoji1787]

As has been mentioned already, they are good as a commuter. They can double as a temporary power bank to keep some stuff on during short emergencies.

Having said the above neither battery technology nor the grid are ready for even a quarter of the vehicles in America to be battery powered.

Politicians and I am including republicans and democrats are printing money like never before. I believe corruption gives them a cut back on every dollar spent. Let’s just say 10% for the “big guy”. All this money spent on “green energy” is just an excuse to rob us blind.

I thought trains and public transportation were the answer for city commuting?

Rolylane- that is what I consider a short commute. I know plenty that do 100 mile each way

I've never heard that "they" can turn your vehicle off. Where did you get this?

Tesla has the ability- their techs can pull up and unlock your vehicle and also stop all power. They don’t have a dealership shop and do everything in the field. They will show up do what they need and leave and if they didn’t send you a text you would never know they stopped and worked on your vehicle
