I said when the first little bits of info started coming out hours after the shooting that it looked like a bunch of folks let protocol get in the way of saving those lives.
Now I’m not so sure it wasn’t just plain old cowardice.

So much didn't add up from the very start. Cops chasing him and then he wrecked...oh wait he just wrecked right near the school for some odd reason.

The part that makes no sense to me about these school shootings is the fact that the schools spare nothing for the effing football program but they can’t hire REAL guards to protect against the sick bastages that want to shoot up kids. That’s a disgrace and most all schools are guilty.

I’m not saying what was right or wrong but I can’t imagine why cops are cautious to act in this ****ed if you do ****ed if you don’t days we live in being second guessed under a microscope on everything cops do. Cops rush in and accidentally shoot some kids in cross fire well you know the rest of that story. Not saying I agree with what happened or didn’t happen but it’s easy to Monday morning quarterback a terrible situation like this. I don’t want the job of police officers these days.

For sure the new hate a cop environment created by our government factored in but at some point a line was crossed beyond that which required interdiction. Parents on scene knew this and were stopped.

I cant imagine being in that environment and the thing on my mind is to get a couple pumps of germ x? I couldnt believe what I was watching. Lots of things dont add up but hopefully they are all coincidental.

I brought this up exactly in a conversation the other day. Should have know they had the green lights the minute he was headed out of his car toward the school. But nowadays cops are not supported or backed if they make the smallest mistake or bad judgement call .

I agree and definitely wish that would have been the case here but was just thinking about all the variables and responsibility that goes into these decisions officers are expected to make quickly in chaotic life/death situations and what the thought process might be for them of the possible repercussions of those decisions if they are wrong or in some cases wrong no matter which decision they make.
