It’s always the low hanging fruit for liberals
They can’t think passed their noses or they always have to blame someone or something else , never take personal responsibility

It’s just amazing I have two kids 12 and 18, guns in the house since they were born but neither have shot anyone.

One question, on the news they say he parked near the school and went it. The pics of his truck show it in a drainage ditch with lots of damage. Looks like he wrecked there unless he tried to flee and police stopped it there.

One of the articles I saw showed a video that says it shows him entering the school with gunfire in the background. Almost read like he fled and entered the school after already exchanging fire with police or something. But I’m sure it’s all unknown as of now.

Exactly. Wimberley schools are on total lockdown.

Such a horrible act by a kid. Thoughts and prayers for the families and community.

Who knows what we will find out when the smoke clears but there were early reports of a police chase prior to the shooting. That might explain his wrecked car

This is what I was wondering also. H eck, I think all the school levels are like that in my area. At least they were when my last one graduated a year ago.

Prayers for all affected by this and the area.

I read that he went through a back door that was unlocked.

This is a close call for us. My wife applied for the assistant principle job at that school 2 years ago, got called in to an interview, but for some reason decided to turn the position down.

Instead she decided to go back into the classroom as a 4th grade teacher. Today a 4th grader at her school brought a knife to school, and almost got away with it because (some) teachers are afraid of the kids. If it weren’t for my wife, this kid would have gotten away with nothing done to him.

Kids in elementary schools are getting away with all kinds of horrific things all in the name of not hurting feelings and singling kids out. A few weeks ago in my wife’s 4th grade class, she was in a meeting while a substitute teacher was supposed to be watching the kids. Well, the sub stepped out of the classroom for a second, and a boy attacked a girl. Full on closed fist hit, and kicked her numerous times. The substitute didn’t do a thing. My wife escorted the boy to the principles office where he got ISS for a day, that’s it.

My wife has been verbally abused by parents too wanting grades to be changed. My wife reported it and was told by administration to change the kids grades!!!

This is why teachers are leaving at an alarming rate. This is not happening at one or two schools here and there, it is happening EVERYWHERE. Until we as a society starts taking responsibility for our own actions(everyone) then this will continue.

My prayers go out to those involved.

It was nothing to see shotguns and rifles in unlocked trucks Worth windows down at our high school in the late 1970’s. Funny that we never had a shooting.

Prayers sent up for all involved. This same tragic scene happened in my backyard 7 years ago when a POS lunatic decided to shoot innocent lives inside the Grand Theatre in Lafayette.

Truly a sad world when people are so self-centered that they have to seek national attention by "going out in a blaze of glory" and killing innocent lives. .... "Hey, look at me, my feelings were hurt so I'm gonna retaliate by shooting people who have no way to fight back or protect themselves."

Not sure what the answer is to stopping this out of control violence. I do know that criminals do not fear our soft judicial system. Everyone deserves a fair trial; however after a conviction and sentencing, capital punishment and the death sentence needs to happen swiftly. If the perpetrator knows he will be electrocuted, fed to the lions, or his head cut off, I'm pretty sure he will think twice before committing a heinous crime.

Same thing the dems screamed about Trump and Bush and the right screamed about Obama.

Truly tragic and infuriating. Like others have mentioned, our daughters elementary school is locked up tight. If picking up your kid early you have to wait outside the front and everything is handled via a camera vs coming inside.

Praying for the parents as I cannot imagine such grief.

Not good. Why was it unlocked and who did it. We were warned at the beginning of every semester to make sure every door is locked all the time. Even our portable buildings were locked 24/7!
