It’s ALL political, everybody does something for a reason. We all play politics even if it’s just within our family, well except maybe a hermit bachelor.
Lots of people died from COVID, and possibly many more if they didn’t put things in place. If they didn’t put mandates and lock things down and 5x as many had died, then people would still play the blame game.

You have to have common sense to look at how things went with lockdowns and how they are going without.

You can also look at states and countries that didn't lockdown.

Common sense, for one. But you can look at places that did lockdowns and masks compared to places that didn't and see that none of that crap made any positive difference. You can also look at the facts and studies and results that are finally starting to be published that show that there was far more harm caused by all the government overreaction than any hint of good.

I won't argue with you about it. Folks who have bought into the lies all this time are pretty dug in. That may not be you. I have no idea. But if you truly have an open mind, go look at all that stuff for yourself and decide what you make of it.

Well for starters if it hasn’t worked, then why in the world keep doing the same thing? How many shots? How many boosters? Explain how the masks work? How about their refusal to allow already approved therapeutics that now has been proven to be effective? Follow the money.

I don’t have the answer but I am smart enough not to keep trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Try something different that may work, you know, actual science.
