1. She could have had a firearm in her waistband
2. A knife in her backpack

3. No sane person would break the glass out of a door inside the capital building and try to jump through it. She clearly had to be mentally unstable and with an angry mob behind her the officer decided to neutralize the threat by taking out the first person through that doorway which was Bobbitt.

These guys lay it all on the line every shift and the only thing they want is to come home to their family every night but keyboard kommandos want them to try to "aim for the leg" or try to "de-escalate the situation" when you have an angry mob outside your office glass door that you've told to stay back but instead the break the glass out the door and and climb through further advancing on you.

It’s different for LE than military. He has to be able to to show she was a threat. Not a possible threat. LE are held to a higher standard that “fear for my life”. I wasn’t on the jury- obviously will not see all the evidence- but to me in my novice opinion it would be a hard one for me to explain. I’m not advocating for her. Heck I think they should have started shooting anyone that riots the first day after the Floyd ruling
