Politicians will NEVER vote to tax the rich because they ARE the rich. If they do put a bill in place, there will be loopholes bigger than Dallas in it that only they can use. The infrastructure bill "only increases taxes on those making over x $" but the tax credits include electric vehicle and ebikes, that only they can afford in the first place. So when it doesn't generate the revenue they claim, they increase the taxes on the ones who can't take the credits.

I really wouldn't think anything like this could get passed. It is one of those things that sounds so stupid it has to be a joke. Unfortunately, in the last few years I have been proven wrong on multiple occasions using this kind of logic.
