The gov also wants to get their share of all the gains made in cryptocurrency.

I haven't been keeping up but keep hearing this. Truth to it?
Yes, there is truth to it. Janet Yellen said herself that she would like to tax the "super rich" on unrealized capital gains. It is no secret the they would love to do this. Anyone who thinks this would not trickle down to the rich/middle class is delusional. I have listened to a few people speak about this practice and it likely would not pass muster legally. That doesn't seem to really matter to the rotting bag of bones in the white house and the other radical leftist.

Politicians will NEVER vote to tax the rich because they ARE the rich. If they do put a bill in place, there will be loopholes bigger than Dallas in it that only they can use. The infrastructure bill "only increases taxes on those making over x $" but the tax credits include electric vehicle and ebikes, that only they can afford in the first place. So when it doesn't generate the revenue they claim, they increase the taxes on the ones who can't take the credits.

I absolutely agree that if passed it would only be a matter of time until we are all paying unrealized gains. I was just stating the law as they are trying to sell it as of now (in my understanding.) My guess would be that it would start out as the top 600 people and very quickly trickle down to the lowly serf's like myself.

I really wouldn't think anything like this could get passed. It is one of those things that sounds so stupid it has to be a joke. Unfortunately, in the last few years I have been proven wrong on multiple occasions using this kind of logic.
