Okay……. This just hit my memory bank.

I went the Army after High School HVAC Pipefitter apprentice route with my life. While still an apprentice with a Mechanical Service Company, the company I worked for had both Abbott and Baxter Labs under contract……I can’t remember which but one of them had an inside joke that a huge percentage of the employees had beagles as pets.
Here’s why…… there was a line of beagles bred with perfect chromosomes and something else….?????…..
And the dock workers would claim DOA dogs for those folks that wanted a pup and sneak them out
Think they went to the East Coast Schools

They also had the same with sheep and goats


So sad……. Yes, they use Beagles as our test animals over prisoners
