We test chemicals all the time on dogs, monkeys, raccoons, etc... I'd bet a lot of money, this isn't even the worst of it. Hell we are testing a freaking experimental vaccine ON PEOPLE, as we speak. Testing on people is always far worse than testing on animals.

It horrible, but I am not going to tell myself this is the first time or last time this happened. We also sent a golden retriever to space to die to make sure it was safe for man. If I recall correctly, that dog burned up on re-entry. No one was up in arms then.

I think the point is liberals would be going nuts..heads exploding 24/7 news coverage..you name it, if this was being blamed on our side.

I think the point here is that this particular test involved removing the vocal cords of animals vocalizing pain. They were fed alive to insects. I dont agree with most testing done on animals but this one in particular involved torture.

Here is the example I gave my wife. If the heart of a Beagle would cure my childs cancer I would without hesitation put that animal down to retrieve its heart. This would be done humanely. I wouldn't torture the animal for months and remove its vocal cords to shut it up while it cried in pain so that I could create a new drug to profit from. This particular experiment is beyond the pale of a modern society. There is no benefit ends derived from this stupid sand fly experiment that justifies the means. Also, using them to trap more flies out in the desert as bait?

Also, there's a difference in having a drug you reasonably think is safe so you test it on animals first versus doing known harm on purpose to an animal.

I agree Shane, I'm convinced that the Chinese intentionally welcomed in the gain of function funding from Fauci to trap him just in case something like this happened. They knew that by having Facui and those at the top of government US public health directly implicated in funding, then they were safe from any real US scrutiny in something like Covid-19. EVERYONE knows it came from Wuhan, the Chinese have us by the balls and our top government officials will NEVER allow the US to be implicated in killing 6 plus million globally and almost 700,000 of our own citizens. We as a country will never make an honest effort to investigate Covid's origins nor will we EVER push to hold anyone or any country accountable. We are implicated thanks to Fauci and the other criminals involved in government public health.

I don't think they tricked Fauci in any way. I think he was knowingly complicit in gain of function research.
