“Taxes” cloaked as usage fees in Biden’s spending bill

We desperately need a constitutional amendment that requires the public posting of a bill for a set period of time before congress can vote.

I’m hearing multiple taxes in Biden’s bill.
    - $0.08/per mile driven
    - tax per head of livestock (cattle & pigs)
    - federal tax on tobacco
    - new 1099 K requirement on anyone you pay an aggregate amount of $600 or more to (read baby sitter for my family)

Most of these are being named “usage fees” but they are taxes.

Maybe Biden wasn’t nuckin futs when he said it would be fully funded. He’s going to tax us to the tune of 3.9 trillion!

Just more Democrats doing what Democrats do

The mileage tax alone will be devastating

They are so broke. 2008 gonna look like a good year come soon. They at about 10 trillion in 18 months once this infrastructure thing goes through? It is going through.

So if I disconnect my odometer and use my phone's GPS to monitor my speed, how would they know how far I drove?

Forget about the mileage tax for your person. Think about when you want to buy something and all the .08 that are going to have to be factored into the cost basis now.

There's already a tobacco tax and the livestock tax is not true. I'm not sure about the others but I already have to file a 1099 for anyone who provides custom services greater than $600.

Remember when I said they would never tax the rich even though they claimed they would only tax the rich. According to the people who can pay $35,000 per ticket (x 2) and $4,000 for a dress for 1 party, families who make more than $400,000 are rich. (I'm far below that.) The real bill has tax credits up to 100% for E-bikes, electric cars, and tax shelters that people who make less than $200,000 cannot afford. Those who make more than $200,000 will see up to a 40% increase in taxes - but they get the tax credits!

The wealthy also shelter their incomes in places the US IRS cannot touch. Make no mistake - not only will this bill destroy the middle income, the ones who are still gasping for air will be finished off by double digit inflation.

                        How can mileage be tracked/taxed?

Vehicle inspections keep up with mileage.

I guess we’ll be required to pull into a federal checkpoint once a month and mileage be documented and attached to our SS #.

Not all states require an inspection on private passenger vehicles
