Im not gonna say anything about your friends statement. I will say as a military veteran I have met a lot of vets even ones I served with that will tell some whoppers just to keep up with the hype Hollywood created. I mean outright lies they should be ashamed of. Most vets are honorable people and thats the public consensus of all vets but its not true. Some people just lie for strange reasons. Again I am not saying thats the case with your friend, just some perspective to add.

GLM. My Mom was in that exact ICU 3 weeks ago. She fell and busted her head open. They were at 100% because no ICU nurses. Only had 4 beds occupied. Her, a guy in car wreck, and 2 covid folks. Only had staff for 4 patients so they were “full”. She was only there 2 nights so the reefer trucks must of happened before or after she left.

My BS meter went sky high....again. Still zero proof hospitals are full. Nothing but facebook hype.

No one ever had an issue taking and posting pictures of people in hospitals pre-covid. Now everyone believes all these overflowing stories yet no one, and I mean zero people ever go take a picture or see for themselves.

          Hospital Adventure

I had a heart catheterization done at St.Lukes /Patients hospital in Pasadena last week.
I didn’t ask to see the morgue or anything, but everything seemed normal.
I only had to pop negative beforehand.
They sent me to an ER for the Covid test and there was nobody in it but me.

A big problem with politics now a days is they want to lie to us like we are little kid's… Santa will be here so let’s put out a plate of cookies, never mind we don’t have a chimney….

This whole issue with trying to get people vaxed is all politics since the idiots have ducked up everything else. So now there is no room in hospitals due to none vaxed individuals(seems like a stretch to me) just like the Easter bunny… How about all the vaxed idiots walking around spreading covid since they believe they are totally immune?? And since that’s not enough, let’s just release 100s of thousands of illegals into the country without the vax. Seems like a perfect way to stop covid wink wink

Would have been much better if they would be releasing any and all data as accurate as possible and allowed us to make a choice….

I know folks in medical field. There is a hospital problem. The shortage is nursing. First problem is Gov is paying too much. Second is they can work less hours and make same money as travel nurses and not put up with the hospital administration as much. So hospitals are “full” when they have half the rooms full

                  Everyone else is moving on

Time for people here to see this for what it is, a very corrupt power hungry regime trying to maintain control

We have people here telling us we “are a long way off from kids returning to in person school” while at the same time most schools in the south have been back to in school learning , many since the end of the last school year and most since the beginning of this year.
How can these people just say **** that isn’t true and people believe them??
It’s all a fear and control campaign nothing more

Now I have to hit the road and drive to Lewisville high school for my sons football game where there will be thousands of people I’m close proximity (for the 4th wknd In a row) and I’m sure we will all die 10’days later.
This is what you would have to believe if you listened to the propaganda.

Norway will end all COVID-19-related restrictions starting Saturday, Sept. 25, the government announced, joining a growing list of countries and states that have removed pandemic curbs.

“It is 561 days since we introduced the toughest measures in Norway in peacetime … Now the time has come to return to a normal daily life,” Prime Minister Erna Solberg told a news conference on Friday.

The virus can now be considered as one of several respiratory illnesses with seasonal variation, said Geir Bukholm, the assistant director for the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, according to local media. In Norway, COVID-19 has been classified as a generally dangerous disease, but the official classification could change soon, he said.

“We are now in a new phase where we must look at the coronavirus as one of several respiratory diseases with seasonal variation,” Bukholm told news outlet VG, referring to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

“This is because the vast majority of those at risk are protected,” Bukholm said, referring to the country’s vaccination campaign.

Norway will no longer require businesses to implement social distancing measures, and it will also allow sports and cultural venues as well as restaurants to use their full capacity, the prime minister’s office said. Nightclubs can also reopen under the new guidelines.

“We have lived a long time with strict measures at the borders. This has been important in combating imported infections. When we now move on to a normal everyday life, the government proposes a gradual reduction of the restrictions on entry into the country. This will take place under close supervision,” Minister of Justice and Emergency Management Monica Mæland said in a statement on the government’s website, according to a translation.

The country will also allow restriction-free travel from some countries, namely from European nations, so-called “purple list countries,” and the United Kingdom.

Solberg had so far implemented the first three stages of a four-step plan to remove social and economic restrictions imposed since March of last year, but the final step was postponed several times amid worries over infection rates.

“In short, we can now live as normal,” Solberg said.

The prime minister warned, however, that those who do contract COVID-19 must still go into isolation to avoid spreading the virus. Some restrictions will still apply to those arriving from countries considered to have a high rate of infections, the government said.

Nearby Sweden earlier this month announced it will remove most of its COVID-19 restrictions.

An announcement from the Swedish government on Sept. 7 said that restrictions on public venues such as restaurants, theaters, and stadiums will be removed on Sept. 29.

“The proposal means that any participation restrictions that may be needed for public gatherings and public events with 15,000 or more participants should not apply if the system of vaccination certificates is used,” said the government’s statement. “This means that the organizer shall not be obliged to limit the number of participants in premises and delimited areas or spaces that the organizer has at its disposal if there are restrictions regarding this.”

According to the Norwegian Institute for Public Health, about 67 percent of the population is fully vaccinated.

                  Reuters contributed to this report.

hospital administration issues is exactly why my daughter left Parkland. One would think after the time and expense of making them a critical care nurse, which isn't easy to get into, they wouldn't treat them like rented mules.....
