Public sector unions are a different animal (Even FDR was against them) and are the main reason so many states and cities are in such dire financial trouble. Early retirement, job tenure, high wages, healthcare for life, pension plans, etc that are available nowhere in the private sector. Public sector employees work for us - the people - but there is nobody truly negotiating on our behalf, just politicians that promise them the moon to get elected then leave us to pay the bill.
And apparently with the Teachers union, try to ruin a family for asking questions.
There is no way in hell a public service union should be allowed in any form or fashion be allowed to think they are the ruler over the parents or children
