    All unions need to go

When we go to God by prayer, the devil knows we go to fetch strength against him, and therefore he opposeth us all he can.

YUP, Unions are the reason prices for goods are so high.

Really? Transportation, taxes, shortages, supply/demand, etc have nothing to do with it? Only union folks are buying up all the ammo and standing in lines through the door and down the sidewalk. There are auto companies that are non union and their vehicles are just as expensive as Detroit’s are. Those high dollar Nike goods are made in sweat shops. Shall I continue? Some things you just can’t fix until natural selection kicks in.

Should have written ONE if the MAIN reasons goods are so high. Labor costs have sky rocketed unless of course you are a pickle farmer.

Todays unions are no where near the same as the 60's unions.

FYI: I am a life member of the teamster union.

They don’t offer a young person very much anymore and their apprentice programs are crap to put it very nicely!

Certain parts of the country have great apprenticeship programs. In the right to work states it is certainly lacking.

Private sector unions will rise and fall on their own merits, good and bad - they are responsible for better working conditions and wages as well as ruining some companies and entire industries. Public sector unions are a different animal (Even FDR was against them) and are the main reason so many states and cities are in such dire financial trouble. Early retirement, job tenure, high wages, healthcare for life, pension plans, etc that are available nowhere in the private sector. Public sector employees work for us - the people - but there is nobody truly negotiating on our behalf, just politicians that promise them the moon to get elected then leave us to pay the bill.

A little something I ran across on the internet-----------

You will know them by the fruit they bear, and their rotting fruit is filled with poison and abominations. They have brought nothing constructive to contribute to the Table of Humanity. Would that not make career politicians the ‘useless eaters’ they call us? Make no mistake, the ‘elite’ are the predators, not us ‘commoners’. They exploit and consume us in every possible manner through their various and many ‘laws’ and institutions.

They live a life of luxury on our backs and are richly rewarded for their silver tongues. By way of usury and deception, they are able to remain viable, at our expense. They have segregated themselves above us as they work in secrecy against us. 90% of those in power are not fighting for you, they are ineffective stewards, and they must be held accountable, and replaced.

And those that lead the unions are the same as elected politicians in government since they are elected too by the membership. I don't know of a single union member and I know a few that will honestly say their union had a fair election. TWU at DFW Airport is the crookedest on them all here in Texas.
