You take that book and shove it. We don't need any Third World illegal immigrants that don't have a 2nd grade education. Our services and schools, not to mention courtrooms, are being overwhelmed by these blood suckers. Because of millions of them are here, they have lowered the wages of Americans and most of them are being paid under the table, so there is no SS taxes being taken out.
I don't care if they are German, Russian or whatever, if they are illegal, kick them out. Our entry system is just fine, what is wrong with it? My niece came in legally from Viet Nam. These illegals just don't want to do it right and we should keep them out. We accept more people per year than the rest of the world combined.

You need to attach an IQ test to that theory. You are assuming they are smart enough to realize what they left and why. Just look at Texas. It is turning more and more blue. Not because of Immigration from Mexico, its from Emigration from CA and states like that. They truly don't realize why CA is no longer the best option for them and why Texas has so much more to offer then. They don't change their voting habits and political beliefs. They just start the whole process all over again. Now add in the newly immigrated who get flooded with Liberal ideas and you compound the problem. Education is key. I'm not saying there is no education involved in being liberal, just that when a life change needs to be made, they should absolutely understand it and why.

Wow, go on a hate trip regarding Abbott, why don't you? And while you are at it open your eyes and learn something. Both the programs you mentioned are federal, not state. Education is a constitutional right and was upheld by the SC. Welfare is a federal program that sends money through the state's. Abbott can't touch either. Please know what you're talking about before spouting off and looking bad.

Parts of welfare and education are federal, I know and understand that. Abbott put a stop to the extra unemployment, so find a way to curb what illegals get. As far as schools, there are student loan forgiveness programs for teachers that teach at underserved areas. Make some regional schools for illegals and let the teachers that want loan forgiveness go there or let the bleeding heart teachers volunteer to go there. My point is he should be finding ways to cure the problem. Not just treat the symptoms. And to cure the problem you have to take away or reduce their reasons for coming here.

The best way is to stop em from coming (wall) and then get rid of em over time. Say, a family of 6 has the breadwinner sent back to the carp hole he came from and can't get back. Well, then momma and kids will most likely go back too. Also, we need to enforce the law regarding the hiring of illegals and really fine the snot out of those that do. By eliminating the ability to make money, they will leave without us spending a dime. Another item is that they shouldn't get a dime from the government.
