Lol. How long has Cruz been there, and how many times has the Republicans “compromised”? It is said all the time how the Republicans need to grow a set.

Cruz gets on YouTube and begs for money because now he refuses to take money from woke corporations “anymore”. His words exactly. He’s bought and paid for by lobbyists, just like most in Congress. Yes, he’s as swampy as any of them. He talks a good game just like Lindsay Graham does.

and this gentleman is why we will never win anything long term ... republicans are so stuck on ideologies that they will fight each other ... democrats know who and what they are and support each other no matter what...

being willing to compromise "some" should not be a bad thing , some things are less important than others and you can't win them all , so letting them have a bone to keep our 2A for example , should not be labeled as swampy ..

it should be called the art of negotiation ... and if you think you could get anything accomplished if you never compromise you would not last long in that job yourself .

Again, no examples, just blanket carp. The guy is doing something right because all the dems hate him and lots of repubs (real swampers) hate him too because he calls them all out. You don't know what you are talking about.

quite the opposite! facebook and twitter are very large platforms that people especially younger generation spend a ton of time on and form opinions based on what is posted and discussed there ... much like MSM it is a very powerful tool to steer public opinion ... which is what sways them at the voting booth.

Trump knew that , and he was pretty successful at bypassing MSM for a long time to get his word out... because MSM would either not cover it , or mis-cover it.

we need to fight tooth and nail to regain a voice through msm and social media. without it we are nothing!

if we had control or at least equal voice and coverage on all these platforms , we would not be where we are today and Trump would be in office.

this is exactly where we need to focus !

This is where you are wrong. Trump did not lose the election, it was stolen. That wimp did not get 80m+ votes, 10m more than Obama. Until we fix the election process, the dems will win every time.

Honestly term limits won’t fix the issue. Term limited politicians would then just leave the public sector to work in the private as “consultants” aka lobbyist, and they would simply be used to groom the fresh new Congress for funding projects. We would also have a much larger financial nut to deal with in terms of congressional pensions and benefits as we would have a gluttony of ex-congress members.

The only way it works is a law requiring no former member of working for a Corp with government contracts. And a change in congressional retirement plans

The first part of this is spot on for sure. Democrats have mastered the "enemy of my enemy" strategy. They don't give 2 pinches of monkey crap what kind of weird stuff their fringe groups are into as long as it helps them beat their common enemy, Conservatism. They will fight it out after they kill the dragon.

                        we are the term limits!

if i were a politician and getting rich while there no way i would vote myself out...... and neither would you!...

i have never been nor do i ever want to be a politician,,, but we the people do a very poor job of controlling those we put in office,,,,, because way to many are ignorant, dumb and lazy when it comes to voting.... no one should ever be allowed to make a life occupation of politics,,,, because when they can, they do a very good job of staying put !

                          So Democrats aren’t ideological?
Tell me when the Democrats compromise?

We should not be giving anyone a bone when it comes to the rights which are clearly written in the constitution
Now if you want to compromise on a budget then yes I agree.

It almost lends credit to the notion that FaceBook is nothing more than a front for a CIA/NSA op to spy on and socially engineer the public...

Afterall, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s (DARPA) program Lifelog, a program to track an individual life, ended Feb 2004. Coincidentally, Facebook started Feb 2004.
