Similar story up here in Oklahoma. Evidently schools have no sense of humor anymore.

Fellars I might know a little bit about this situation. Much ado about nothing, honestly. Suffice it to say that there are two sides to every story and in this case one side cannot be heard. Bottom line is we have great kids whose little prank got a little out of hand. Don’t ask for specifics ‘cause I’m not giving any! LOL As Woodrow told Gus, “We can’t start putting’ up with horse theft now”!

If no school property was destroyed then make them clean it up. If so then they deserve what they get. JMO!

And yet, I’ve read multiple threads on here saying schools have gotten too soft and don’t hold kids accountable. Can’t win for losing.

Instead of being vague about it how about just come out with it? Why this need to speak in code? If the kids did something horrific then come on out and state it.

My wife is a teacher, I understand it’s a no win for teachers. I think kids could be held a little more accountable in the class room, and also extended a little leash for harmless pranks after the work is done. That’s all. And I don’t know anything about this situation that’s not in that link.

Breaking into the school means they’re on their own though. That’s not a good move.
